I am Shane Record. I am a professional artist and I ran my successful art studio gallery in Folkestone from 2005-2025. I now run the gallery online so I can focus on working more outside and have the freedom to paint locations further afield. At university I studied French, Sociology and European Law but have painted since I am a child. I am truly lucky to have made painting my career. I am president of the Folkestone Art Society.

I live in Folkestone, I have four children and a wonderful companion in Charlie my beagle. In my free time I love to cook (vegan food!), read, play the piano and ride my unicycle 😀
