I am Shane Record. I am a professional artist and have run my studio-gallery in The Old High Street Folkestone since 2005. At university I studied French, Sociology and European Law but have loved painting since I was a child and I am truly lucky to have made it my career. I am President of the Folkestone Art Society.

I live in Folkestone and have four children. And a wonderful companion in Charlie my beagle. In my free time I love to cook (I’m plant-based), read, play the piano and ride my unicycle.
