**MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT**

After 20 wonderful years of running my studio gallery in Folkestone, I’m really excited to announce the next step in my career as an artist. I want to focus on the aspects of my work that I love, to paint more outside and find locations further afield to grow my following and build on the success I have had in creating large scale, plein air pieces. I’m afraid I just can’t commit to this new venture while keeping my beloved studio open. The gallery has been a brilliant way of establishing myself and connecting with so many of you and now I cannot wait to share with you the exciting path ahead. I hope you follow me on this journey. This isn’t goodbye; I am not leaving Folkestone and I will still be painting scenes from the area alongside new ones. I will still be doing demonstrations in schools, colleges and at charity event auctions, I will remain trustee of and support the art therapy charity for which I founded and help run the annual Folkestone Sandcastle Competition and I will also continue as Folkestone Art Society President. My online shop will be open as usual, with all my old work and new available to purchase in different sizes and formats (including my very popular calendars from November!) and my small, dedicated team will continue to provide the best service and standard possible. I will continue to take on portrait commissions and am of course open to bookings for demonstrations and large scale work. From 6pm on Saturday August 30th I will be holding a celebration at the gallery, marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. I’d like to invite all those who have collected my work and supported me up to now - without you this exciting new phase wouldn’t be possible. Please come! I will be vacating the gallery a few days after that. So once again, a massive THANK YOU, and lots of LOVE ❤️ PS The painting in the video is from Lympne. In 2003 I did a painting from here which became the catalyst in my turning professional two years later. I wanted to return to this spot to see where it might take me now. My initials are STILL on the back of the bench, see vid! PPS Yes, I do have a slight passion for off-road unicycling
