Progress on the Van!

I have spent the last three weeks at AT Services in Dover working on the van. I had to replace the window casings (it leaked), put in sound deadening, insulation, lining and panelling. This was all recommended to me (and largely done by) my old friend Terry who got in touch when he heard I was looking for an old van and said he could help. Terry employed me as a teenager on a building site in Wales and is an enthusiast for VWs. We looked at this one together before buying it at auction. I'll be doing a mural for the owners of AT Services for the use of their garage and invaluable use of their tools, knowledge, advice and biscuits.
