Daffodils
In March last year I was helping my dear sister Julie move house in Folkestone and she gave me these two jars. It was the last time I ever saw her. Four days later she died suddenly and unexpectedly due to an undiagnosed heart condition. I decided to fill the jars with daffodils every spring to remind me of her. This year I painted them in tribute to her. This is the best painting I have ever done. Oil on Canvas 22” x 30” (56cm x 76cm)
